We also have a very vocal cat called Dougal (plus 2 more) who rarely miaows but makes funny pigeon-like sounds -especially in the night when he drags his jumper round-it was what was in the cat carrier when we brought him home 14 yrs ago and he LOVES it

Like Skipper he greets everyone-whether they want to be greeted or not and makes sure they go home with a coating of ginger hairs on their clothes

Skipper was so lucky to have found you
and to be able to say that he never knew cruelty, hunger or what it was like not to be loved is something you can be really proud of

Hope Skipper has met Lulu (our 14 yr old collie cross who we lost 9 months ago yesterday) and that they have met many friends at Rainbow Bridge
Take care
Maureen

Thank you All again, Im sure Skip hopped his way over Rainbow Bridge and did his usual head butting greeting as he always did to anything, whether it be rabbit, dog, cat, ferret, domestic rat or goat...yes he met a goat.
He used to come to work with me when I worked at the vets and sit on the front desk, holding conversations with clients and patients, or just sunning himself and purring away quite happily. He was the 1st to introduce himself to Reah back in the early days, caring not that she was aggressive, and when Colin got his tail caught and had to have it amputated Skip stayed by his side through his healing stage. A cheeky chap when he wanted to come down stairs or go up stairs.....he would sit and wail till someone carried him down or up..........no fool there then we can truthfully say he lived a life of a King. He's been for rides in the car with Pat to Pats Mom's and walked in as happy as Larry and traveled all the way back......in the front seat.....a real character cat
