I thought of this and we tried this morning but he just struggled and freaked out! My husband had to lift him in the end with great difficulty.

Dogsey positive vibes are on constant from all of us here.xxxxxxxxxxxx
Thanks Helena, i hate to see him so helpless, this is the first time anything like this has ever happened to one of my dogs and it's just so hard, i was worried sick when Indi had most of her teeth removed a few months back but i knew what to expect although i was worried this is different with Wizard because we don't know exactly what is wrong and how long this is going to take

Just an update, there is no real change in Wizard, he can't stand or walk and is confused. He was sedated at the vets today and i waited with him whilst that kicked in and then left him for his xray when he was calm. The vet thinks the problem is with his neck and luckily saw nothing sinister like a tumour (i was over joyed to hear that) The problem she thinks is a disc has moved but discs don't show on an xray so he has had another injection (steroid) this time and the vet is saying we should have some improvement by Tuesday and if not he will have to be referred for scans etc. I have also been given tablets to give him from saturday for pain and inflammation.

He is drinking and has eaten a tiny amount and has wee'd himself twice brought on by the sedative. I don't care as long as he is weeing. Have set up a bed in layers of a plastic sheet then towels then his usual bed covered in puppy pads!!

I'm sleeping downstairs with him. All i can do for now apart for hope that he makes an improvement soon.

Please keep those vibes coming.
xxxxxxxxxxx
