She has been better off waiting till now as she has been built up from her racing days and looks in much better condition, than she was.

I have just heard from the vets, she is recovering well and I can collect her at 5pm
Being spayed, thats a major op, and the "grotty" teeth, the mouth being a prime source of infection.

Lily is home and very sleepy still although she made it straight up on the chair no problem .
Her teeth were not that bad just discoloured he said and her spay straightforward.
He cleaned her dew claw which she had ripped right off just leaving the quick.
She has been glued back together instead of stitched. I have never had a dog glued together before so is there anything I need to know thats different from stitches?
At least she won't be pulling her stitches out so I suppose thats a plus.
I have just offered her a little chicken and rice but she is not awake enough yet, although with a bit of coaxing she followed me to the garden and had a good long wee, so that department is all working fine, then straight back in and onto the sofa now . I think I will leave food till the morning.
She has some painkillers and antibiotics and has to go back for a checkup in a week.
I really really missed her today and so did Kyiro who was very relieved to see her home.
