Hi all. Here is a Who update.
The lesion in his throat has gotten larger. It completely surrounds his trachea and is compressing it a little. But then his trachea IS little and it takes little pressure to cause him to start to gasp for breath.
This morning I tried to debulk and scrape some of this obstruction off as I had when Who was first caught but the plaque does not move. The tissue in his throat moves. He is not interested in trying to eat on his own this morning.
We have been tube feeding him every hour now and it does take some effort to pass the tube now.
We have not given up on our little Who friend. I called in a prescription for another antibiotic for him and we will bombard his throat and his system with three medications.
If Who survives until Monday I will be taking him to an avian specialist. He has been on vacation this past week. Hmmmm. How dare he be unavailable when Who needs him?
I hope that Who feels well enough to post today.
