I know your kinda right, she was/is a spoilt girl..she was the first dog i had from a puppy, i picked her out the litter myself, i watched her be born.
But im getting there with her, she is learning, she really is not a nasty dog - but she sure can be hard work its my fault and im having to make up for letting her be a little prat now! I wont make the mistake again!

Because (IMO) if you are trying to be 'Top dog' that implies that you are treating your dog by canine rules....and with the best will in the world you cannot hope to recreate the body language / smells or signals that dogs give off to each other.

The issue that people often fall into is trying to apply the canine rules (as they see them) and the human ones that we have to have in place. The

Best to decide your own fair rules and teach your dogs what they are - Just my take on it.

Im not a fan of the pack leader style, I shall leave that to the likes of CM I like my dogs to do as there told, and know when there being bad though..
what ever my dogs do that is naughty, is because i havent trained them to do other wise...
