I had an older brother and so was subjected to all of his shows like ghostbusters, transformers etc etc but I did get to watch some of my own like:

The shoe people
Super Ted
James the Cat
Fun house
Clarissa explains it all
Play days (with the parrot bird thing!)
Oaky Doak

And then my sister came along so it was Keenan and Kel, Rugrats, The tweenies etc...

So I've gone through several years of childrens tv shows! (My brother is 3 years older, sister 6 years younger!)

Couldn't stand those 2 either.

Also remember: biker mice from mars, wasn't to into it though, nelly the elephant, and something else about a patchwork elephant.

grew up in england later on, and although i didnt watch much tv in new zealand or england, i have heard of some of the more well known shows.

but some of the shows on this list are pretty obscure and extensive.

i have visions you were all mainlining 24 hr kiddie cable

I was out a lot of the time - our street was full of kids when I was growing up! But Saturday mornings were TV time. Thats when all the best shows were on. Some of those mentioned were rather short lived so I'm not surprised you don't know them! And obviously some people had different favourites so there's a very broad range!!! Wish I had grown up in New Zealand... That must have been amazing! So much countryside...
