I think so too. Especially the ones that charge top dollar but put the minimum into the pups

With regards to higher prices bigger markets again it goes back to the breeder. For every litter I have I get at least three times more enquiries than I have pups to sell. I bet I turn down at least 3 people per litter for a pup the rest I pass on to the next in the breed with a litter.

Well I quite agree with ALady, many breed and dont health test or register puppies, which will make a difference in price, although I do feel that some breeders are just plain greedy!! some say that a higher price determines a better price, which IMO is a load of rubbish, some people who have money to burn , do not always value what they have, they have plenty of money to replace when they get bored!!! also is a breed difficult to breed, are there high costs involved, c sections etc, such as the bulldogs, I have seen as much as £2,000 but a lot of bulldog breeders have sections, so much higher vets bills.
