We usually take the two terriers and sometimes Tara(GSD). When camping this works well and we get family to stay with the others. We did take Lady and Tara camping once but Lady has a tendency to guard the vehicle so can be a pain with barking.

I don't have a choice but to take both of mine, Oscar hates being left on his own. When I do have three I may have to consider leaving two and taking one, but that's the beauty of having three really!

i know alot of the horse folk who take their dogs and when they are busy or in the ring either leave them in the horse box, or stake them out if its a nice day and they can lie under the boxes for shade. i always go say hello to the dogs at horse shows, feel like its a duty being such a dog person spent ages playing with a collie pup last time

I used to take just Ben to events and leave the other two who couldn't be trusted with strange dogs. Ben was so nosey about everything, he loved fairs.
My first dog Louie was another who loved going to shows, he went to the Royal Highland for years and years and loved it, possibly something to do with all the freebies he managed to beg from food stalls .

Are you not keeping one of yours?

In about a year or two, now I've changed jobs getting number 3 is a serious possibility!

As for breed I'm not 100% sure yet, I change my mind every day! I am going to Crufts to look at the Anatolians though.....

no not keeping one, they are all boys, and i didnt want a boy, cant really keep a boy either, 2 boys in the house is enough, and we already have problems with mylo and asbo, so probably not a wise idea adding another boy into the mix.
and as for your breed, labrador?
