Is there anyone who doesn't love otters?

Those are fantastic pics Dawn.

First time I came to Suffolk, before I ever knew I would live here, was when I was 17. I was learning to drive and my Dad was a salesman who used to let me drive him all over his 'patch' for practice, which was the whole of the S.East and East Anglia.

We would stop off for lunch at great places and often found some gems like the Norfolk Lavendar fields and The Otter Trust in Bungay (where Tonto came from and Harry Potter is printed).

They had so many otters. A tiny little trust and I think it is closed to visitors now but they were fantastic.

Your little one with his pebble reminds me of sea otters who lie on their backs and use a pebble to crack open shells.

I've found out why.... they were a breeding program to be released into the wild and it was succesful, so you can visit by appointment but there are no otters.
It was closed after the 117th otter was released in 1999.
