So sorry to hear this about your poor Charlie. Easier said than done, but try not to worry too much coz of your own problems, you mustn't get stressed or het up, they're doing everything possible for him, you know that. He'll soon be home.

A friend of mine had this 2 years ago, and luckily her husband insisted they did a scan when he rushed her to the hospital, and they ended up transferring her to a neurological unit and operating straight away, it was on one side of her head, she was only 40!!! Whilst they were operating, she had a 2nd bleed on the other side of her head, so they repaired that one too! It really is amazing what they can do nowadays!! So try not to worry, they WILL do everything they need to do and pretty quick too when it's necessary. Sounds as if he was very lucky it was where it was and they haven't had to operate. My friend is absolutely fine now after what she went through, so don't worry if they do have to operate on him. You just take care of yourself,he wouldn't want you stressing yourself out, there's nothing you can do, he's in their hands.xx
