Well done for sticking to it, I love swimming and have always visited the pool at least a couple of times every week, and it's said to be just about the best excercise you can get.

Well done I think it's so important that we all learn to swim I think I could swim before I could walk lol.
I remember a few years ago my sister in law was takinga trip to Australia and she couldn't swim. So I took her to the local pool 3 times a week for about 6 weeks and now she is confident in the water (she used to be terrified and would not even stand in the shallow end.
Me? if there is a hint of water I'm in
So good on you and keep up the hard work you wont' regret it. Just think of all the lovely places you can go too and swim. Lovely warm Med or somewhere anywhere warm where the water is the most beautiful colour you can imagine. Just floating in the green and blues of the ocean.
I tell you, you will understand once you have done it. So keep it up.
And as someone else has said it could save your life one day.
