I got Kingsley a harness from Pets at home.
It has pads for the bits under his arms(legs?), and doesn't rub.

Well I very rarely use a harness these days as I have much more control with a collar. But Hurricane Kennels in Sweden make some really nice leather (padded) harnesses made for walking/workng out etc (not big flashy types either) though they are pricey they dont lack in quality ww.hurricanekennels.com otherwise like everybody else go to Pets at Home or somewhere like that. My advice would be to go for a good thick collar for walking.

Is that the "no pull" harness? I bought one for Charlie recently,it has sleeves over the parts that go under his legs.It works realy well and no rubbing

Mine have the cheapo nylon ones you see in pets at home but we got them in the pet shop at Nantwich for about £7 each, they work just fine and no rubbing... no pulling either but I can't abide pulling cos I'd end up on the floor

I use one of those Car Harnesses for Jas. It doesn't rub him at all but my parents have a padded one for him. They bought it in their local garden centre

I got one of those for Cleo but as soon as she leans in the car it loosens right off.

A bit fiddly is putting it nicely It took me an hour just to figure out how it went on then lots of minor adjustments(and swearing) to get right but it seems to stay put then, the velcro is a great idea

Yeah, I agree - the velcro is a good idea!
I checked, and it is a no pull harness
