It says its not a show but an event with classes held with permission from the kennel club Pod their wording is a special event recognised by thr Kennel Club
Thats the date of B'hams championship obedience show, its not our year for a breed Championship show.

I didn't say it was a KC licenced event but just that the Chief Exec was there

The KC cannot penalise people for showing at non licenced events I can't remember who was judging at Birmingham but it could be an"English"judge I suppose

Edited to add just checked BGSDA don't have breed tickets this year

It says (Ch/OB) in the KC diary. I took this to mean championship breed, and obedience. So I'm wrong on that... is it championship obedience?

When was the change in KC regulation about participating at non KC events? I missed that, though someone on Dogsey did query that in a Dogsey thread a while ago, when I mentioned it.

It happened a good while ago I'll look it up in the 2007/2008 year book when I have a minute

CH/Ob is an Obedience Ch Sh

It would have CH/CH(OB)if it was a breed & obedience show

I wish I lived nearer, I still retain a massive love of GSDs and would love to have been able to go to this.

If anyone minds would you update this link as to who wins please?

Will do Anne Marie, if I stay all day will do so straight away, otherwise have to wait for the full results in the National Mag to do so.

I attended the first one in Oct 2005 in Sheffield, I couldnt go to last years as working, not sure it was a KC licenced event but they did have their agreement to run it. I am hoping to go to this as I no longer work weekends and I am back from Germany on the 4th of Sept.
