I only normally ever chain him up if I really have to and I am within eyeshot of him, but a lot of the problems stem from people who automatically think that they have the god given right to just go up to a dog on a lead and stroke them.

The biggest clue Onyx gives off first is his growing, and if you haven’t got the brains to walk away then I normally have to tell people to leave him alone.

The stupid thing is, is that when he is on his lead walking around town with the other two regardless of whether they are all with me or the wife he is as soft as anything. He only becomes a different beast when he is parked.

There's a big difference between 'chaining a dog' and putting a padlock on a dogs lead when popping into a shop

How? If the chain is the lead then it sounds like the same thing to me!
