Off to New York for a week on 29th August. Have a live in sitter for the dogs, but still can't go for a fortnight. I miss them sooo much, sad person that I am.....

Actually made the booking on Sunday, so I'm getting excited now

Ooh New York is fab, my Sis moved to New York State a few years ago (back now though) and I had such a great time visiting her. Central Park is just bizarre though!

Nothing freaky don't worry! It's just really really strange to suddenly find yourself in the middle of a gigantic park in the middle of a huge city!

If you can have a go on the Bus tour, you see loads in a relatively short space of time. Just don't sit at the front of the bus with light coloured shorts, cos if you're anything like me and my sis you'll have a sweaty bum and some see through shorts by the time you have to walk past the rest of the passengers to get off.

Oh and don't forget to tip!
