Me and Ian were just going to go off with the kids the registry office and then tell everyone after... but he wants his mum there, aand she is 70... but then that means i got to invite mine

And now its turned into a big occasion in Wales... i just hope the people I'll invite won't come

If we find it a struggle, i'm just going back to the original plan and people can meet if they wish at the pub or something... and maybe a kebab after

I don't like big events, never have done

God, i wish my story was as romantic as those!

I was 19, and 8 months pregnant, it was millenium eve and he got down on one knee at midnight and asked me to marry him, he had even bought a ring, bless him, i suppose for him that was well planned, we had been together for 2 yrs previous to that, and we are still just about married now , our engagement lasted 2 years and i told him (for what reason now i cant remember or comprehend) i wouldnt marry him after he turned 30 (i was only 21) so we got married 3 days before he turned 30! Then all 3 of us (son that is aswell) went down to devon for 3 days honeymoon!! That was 2 and 1/2 long years ago now!
Sad to say ive been put off marriage for life lol

I had known him for 2 weeks when we went for a day out to Littlehampton and were busy mopping out the back of his car where his old labrador Jimmy had been very sick and he said if I could put up with Jimmy I would do for him ! We got married 4 weeks later that was 20 years ago.

Oh Katyb - thank is so beautiful, how romantic.

Kirsty - I kept it small and it was great - don't be pushed into anything you don't want, have it the way you want it. It was just me and Kevin and two witnesses at the chapel and then home to my mums for a wee bite to eat and then Kevin and I took the dog out for a walk and finished the night with a Dominos pizza - just the two of us.

Wiggle - they should make a movie of that - maybe minus the sick lab bit though .

Hmmmmm, probably if someone asked me that (don't think they will though, 15 and ain't no boyfriend in sight ), I would be running soooo fast in the opposite direction.

Realistically though, nothing fancy, maybe a meal out, a simple ring, thats all.
