I wish I was staying at home I can think of a million other things to do than stand in the freezing cold, watching fireworks

They've started letting them off already, and it's only 3.30

Hi Lel,

I am afraid Cassy is so bad with fireworks we cant go out, just got some drugs from the vets.

Tuesday night I was walking her and some kids threw a rocket at me and it exploded just beside us, she lay on the ground shaking & panting. Since then I cant get her to go out the house after dark not even out through the back to relieve herself. I have to literally carry her outside she just lies down & shakes she is okay during the day so I think she is scared because that incident happened at night.

She is bad enough in the house when they go off but Tuesday just pushed her over the edge I am glad she didnt have a heart attack the poor thing. Lots of sedatives tonight its the only humane thing I can do for her right now

The vet said theres no point working on her at the moment because there may be a chance of fireworks when we are out so I have to wait until after all the polava and start to try to rebuild her trust.

You could stick a rocket up Kips arse and she wouldnt notice lol.

I hope you all enjoy yourselves tonight though.

Laura

Hi Laura try to seensitize Cassy through the coming year get a tape of "fireworks" sre you can buy one and play it in the house so she gets used to them.

Bloody things I like em by its the throwing etc that really bugs me.
