Holly, the PRT, who has the damaged toe, is going to work with me tonight to get a 2nd opinion on her toe, and whether or not amputation is the only option, we are seeing one of the orthapedic Vets..please send her positive thoughts..

Ok, i'm feeling a bit shell shocked! The Orthopedic Vet looked at Holly and said yes, her toe is slightly thickened where she knocked it up as a pup, but the limp has nothing to do with her toe..she has damaged her shoulder and torn the ligaments in it..I cant believe if i'd gone ahead with the amputation of her toe it would have been for nothing.. Thank God that guy tonight agreed to look at her..strict rest for the next 2 weeks, Rimadyl and he wants to see her again..she can only go out on the lead, and she and Becky will need to be kept from chasing about together..currently they are separated by the stairgate..to much loud sighs and whines..
