Aw Sweep ...
remember our previous conversations
...it's never too late to change your mind,
... if you are at home I will be around here on Christmas night

That was a bit mean to say the least

They shouldn't make you feel guilty for not going, it's your decision where you decide to spend christmas.

Aaw Sweep, here's huge for you. it was just a bit insensitive of your son to say that especially when you're feeling so low. Things will settle down, Christmas is always such a stressful time. You take care of yourself and try to have a good Christmas

after how they have treated you lately why should you want to go.
not only was it the wrong place it was a very low and mean thing to say to you.
which gran wouldn't want to spend time with the grandson on the 1st christmas? its not him that is acting like an idot............ sweep even if you did go i don't think you would enjoy it,being watched etc.
my in laws hardly see my kids their choice to busy in their own lifes its been going on so long the kids aren't bothered any more when ever i say grandparents they automatically think of mine but i would never stop them from mixing they are still the grandparents after all.
do you think this was his way of getting back at you for the text you sent telling him how you feel?
the only other thing is not go for dinner but go round at some point to see harrison.or i feel he might throw that at you again at some point..........trying to say you don't care.
i know mine aren't babes but im sure they wouldn't mind a gran that takes notice of them,do you fancy the job?

Hope you are feeling a little better today, you need to do what is best for you, being unwell is not pleasant, and sometimes you cannot cope with the stress and noise of young Children, doesn't mean you love them any less. From one Nanny to another.Big ((((hugs)))))
