Nooooooo Brenda, wouldn't put you off, you deserve to be happy!! You don't have any issues with your neighbours so you can just tick the box or put no issues.
Waiting for my new consultant to call, if he hasn't called by half past...I am off....he can call my mobile number, not waiting by the phone all day, want to see grumpy at some point and if I go too late, he will moan

Not trying to put you off but just warning you the paperwork can be a bit tedious and repetitive.

I know I did put a laughing moji. Anyway here's a thing. Saw a couple of places to rent but not available till October. So I thought just ask the agent that had them on their books a couple of questions only to be told people had already put their names down. So, this brings in the question how soon should one put their name down while waiting for the house to be completely settled.?

I would start now find where you want to be maybe visit and ear mark areas and streets put your name down worse that can happen you reach the top of the list before you are quite ready but at least you are top of the list. Confidence.

Good afternoon all.

Porch finished and looking good - yay

Window cleaner for Gary sorted - £10 per month and he can manage from inside - yay

Now just waiting for the plumber to give us a start date for the bathroom

I wonder how it works with Gary's flat. You know what a problem we had with the guy next door who persecuted Gary for months. So he did have a major neighbour dispute, but the guy died and, of course, Gary was a tenant. I'm just trying to get my head round how you declare that

Good luck all going well by the sounds of it. Sounds like the window cleaner could get more work given from this too.

I would ask your solicitor regarding the neighbouring dispute.

Agree with Kazz brenda if you have an offer and you are buying another property you start looking so can't see why it should be so different regards renting.
I just wouldn't put any money up front. Yet.
Your buyer if not already been will be required to declare he has the deposit money and can afford the mortgage if he is needing one. Our buyers had to come from Enfield to Norfolk to be checked out by the guy who deals with all that in their office.
Same happened when we sold mums house back in 2011 the buyer went up to the estate agent same day with her mortgage offer and bank account details so the sale could start as soon as possible.

Glad the window cleaner has worked out Chris.
Would check with solicitor but if the guy has died he cannot cause more issues, so they may say not to worry.
