All the qualification references are North American, ie TD (Tracking Dog Test) and TDX (Tracking Dog Excellence), hence the training routines are based on how to pass these tests.

I also recommend Patricia McConnell's book "The Other End of the Leash." She also has some shorter booklets on more specific training issues, but The Other End of the Leash is a good one to start with.
