you need to know what time j lands and reserve a ticket with virgin to and from the airport depending on the time depends if you have to change at liverpool street.
travel is about 2 hours.

An idea, what about a connecting flight from Stanstead to Coventry airport, and then someone could pick up Jeanette and AMTS from there?

J will have to reserve the ticket herself, or pay for it when she orders it.
If you reserve it, you need the card you reserved it with, to pay for it.

Have checked airlines, and Stansted don't seem to do many national flights that I can find!

ok call me daft as some of you do and will but can't they fly into birmingham airport direct?
that way its a taxi to the hotel or east midlands and get the train to birmingham.

couldnt they get a connecting flight to Coventry, and someone pick them up from there, someone who lives in Birmingham, as its under an hours drive, or about the same on the train.
