You and Lily are in my thoughts and I have everything crossed that she will fully recover.

My ESS had a couple of strokes in her later years (@ 13 and 14 yrs old). She would be very disorientated, panting, off her food, be wobbly and walked in circles with her head on one side etc. She made almost full recovery after each one, in that she regained physical ability and remembered who we all were. However her senility, eyesight and hearing seemed to worsen significantly after each episode, rather than the gradual decline she was already in.

xx

Thankyou everyone, please keep her in your thoughts. I will let you all know how things are and if Lily will spend the night here or at the emergency vets when I speak to the vet later.

Oh poor Lily hope she is better soon.

Hate hearing of how some vets can be so negative towards any animal and owner, you should definently report to the rcvs.
I have had to report a vet also in the past to the rcvs and they handled my complaint perfectly.

Sending lots of hugs and kisses xxx

I'm so sorry that Lily has had to suffer like this. Sending vibes for Lily and best wishes to you all.

The vet needs a rocket up her backside!

Poor Lily She must be so scared, I really hope she is well enough to come home later today. You must be so upset. Make sure that you complain about your vets handling of Lily. Positive vibes coming your way for Lily and yourself.
