Lucky you, bones don't seem to give Rupert the same satisfaction destroying a stuffed toy or a Wubba or something does. I've found giving him empty cardboard boxes does help with it somewhat though. He's not de-stuffed the couch yet anyway

Kiki destroys lots of toys but I bought some rope toys from our local pound shop and they've lasted absolutely ages, 12+ months. They're similar to these

Poundland had some of the rectangular ones from the second photo when I went in the other week, and I've seen the balls in various petshops.

Yeah I second that my 121 trainer said the black ones are best as they have a lip inside which makes it harder for the dog to get the treats out as you can slip them behind it thus you use up less treats and their very tough too.

I've had a couple of those ball rope toys since we had Jess (so four years), and they only have a tiny bit of freying on! They're brilliant!

ben was good he only ever chewed tennis balls, still got 1 in the garden from last summer hes still got a chewy stick i bought him monday and just licks it
