ive heard a few good things about your rattery lately!

can i ask you though, about your camera settings? I fail at taking pink/ruby eyed photos (well good ones anyway!) im guessing you didnt use the flash and the camera to shutter speed priority?*

*im learning but v v slowly!

thanks

Hi there Motley Should I know you? what have you heard and where? *nosyface*

Settings - that's pretty easy - and I shouldn't part with the info because I'm trying to charge people to do pet portraits at some stage, but eh, for now it won't hurt!

I do use flash - I actually use a speedlight, it gives a nicer light, but you can use the on camera flash. I presume you're using a DSLR? If not then it's a bit more complicated with the pink eyes, I never did manage to get them looking right with a compact.

I usually work in aperture priority, at about f5.6 - f8 depending on the lens I'm using, and I use flash always. If you need any more help at all, just feel free to pm me

xx
