It is truly awful and I know that it is not a true representation of everybody in Essex. It is not my kind of programme at all... I never watched the first series and was ill spending the day on the sofa and caught the first episode of the current series... and now... I am hooked! It is so bad that its really good if that makes sense! Its easy watching and amusing! My OH watches it now too if its on when he is around and is very annoyed that if he starts watching he cannot stop!

I love it, think it is absolutely hilarious, especially Harry - he is my out-and-out favourite.

It's our guilty-pleasure TV watch, even Sid loves it!!

We visited Colchester once-never again! It was the middle of summer and I wanted an ice-cream and there were no shops selling ice-creams . It was full of tattoo parlours and charity shops.

On the plus side we did enjoy the castle very much.

I don't know Colchester but to be fair I think you'll find a high street like that in just about every county in the uk. Brentwood, Chigwell and Loughton where this is filmed are all pretty affluent areas. This lot definitely have more money than sense even if the money is mum and dads .

i despise it think its utter crap lol and harry just grinds on me with his pathetic voice theyre all divvy if you ask me and the girls all seem to tarty for my taste just my opinion tho lol

There is money in Brentwood true but there are also some pretty grim run down areas.
