Happens one way or another with a lot of springers. I did know and yet was stupid enough to think I'd get away with using Autarky----which turned out to be maize and not a lot else---and Etta nearly died. We thought it was a blockage because she had a huge swelling which turned out to be a swollen lymph gland. Vet said springers are always weird lymph glands coming up.

I now use fish4dogs and burns chicken and rice with no cereals in treats. JWB and Burns and fish4dogs plus cheese, cooked meats etc.

I don't think chappie has enough oomph for her but I have used it a lot with old dogs and sick dogs.

I have this with Jamie and he now gets JWB Turkey and Vegetable or JWB Ocean Fish and veg, also use F4Ds, as my baby boy doesn't tolerate wheat or chicken very well.
