Definatley agree with everyone else get him to the vet ASAP. Spinal problems can change very quickly so the sooner he gets seen the better.
I've had experience in spinal problems so know first hand what can happen.

Totally agree with previous posts. Definitely needs to have this checked by the vet, hope you manage to get there today.

Phew! Pleased to hear that. When I had a cat that was totally horrendously affected by having to go to a vet - I ended up paying for a vet to come out to him.

Not kidding - the state this cat got into if put into a catbox, the car and then the vet, made it almost impossible to see what the symptoms were - all being overtaken by this total stress overload and the vet would give end up giving the cat tranquiliser - and I then had about 3 weeks of irrational behaviour back at home with it. Just not worth it!
