I use long lines a lot and they end up getting v dirty and knotted which is annoying.
I think I will try and get hold of some tracking lines which is made of strong thin round rope.
Less chance of knotting!

Regarding long lines, I have seen many burn their hands using them. Some clubs now recommend a pair of gloves when using long lines. Health and Saftey issues!

long lines for running around the feild so they can go as fast and as far as possible (they have 100ft leads) and i use an extendable when i take skyla out on our own, as she listens to all my commands n walks lovely, i use a extendable on my staffy too as he is old, and walks rly slow where as blaze is young and pulls so its not fair on bingo being pulled along

I use the longest extendable lead there is.

I've never had any bother with it, but then my dogs are street walked through choice.

It'll never drop on the floor as I have a device to attach it to my wrist
