Thats horrendous, i would've been very angry too and very shaken!!
I can't believe they had the audasity to even try that with after speaking to you!

What bloody nutcases.

Definately report it cause if they are looking for a "free" dog like you said, theres no doubt they're going to try this again.x

Bloody hell, that's awful! It's so lucky you spotted what they were doing & that your dog wouldn't go near the boy!

Definitely agree with what someone else said, it sounds like the mum has said the kids can have a dog if they can 'find' one. Bloody disgrace of a mother

I think I'm almost as shocked as you!!! This is horrendous! So glad Reah didn't go with them. And how lucky was it that you did look up!!! Hope you're ok. And that you have phoned the police! These people really need to be found... It could be someone else's dog next!!!

(((hugs))) for you, I can't imagine how you're feeling right now!!!

Feeling alittle bit better now, sorry was really upset,
No they didn't ask her name but thats on her collar anyway.

I have rang the police and spoken to someone there, they have taken details (Pat said the woman had stone washed jeans on and a blue jacket) over the phone, they were actually very supportive and have logged it.

The woman at the station who I spoke too, told me that last year they did have a spait of people dogs going missing in this area, and when the owner was advertising ''lost posters'' they were being returned with suggestions of ''the kids found him/her so maybe you would like to give them a little something for finding your dog''
She said that they had a number of reports of this nature last year then suddenly it stopped, so she will pass it to the beat officer.
Otherwise she agreed with what Pat said maybe the woman had suggested a ''found dog'' could be thier pet not her actually buying them one, but she did say that due to last years activities it would be worth bearing that in mind.

Looks like our lot have now had the pleasure of sitting on drive when we are out there...stopped I can not risk anything like that happening.

F'in tw**s that live around here have once again spoilt things for responsible people

OMG Steph what a terrible shock for you.
So glad the police seem to be taking it seriously, they often just brush these things off don't they?
You keep a tight hold on those doggies of yours and put your feet up and put something strong in your tea
