Vet is treating her for an infection and has prescribed a course of antibiotics.
If it doesn't clear, he may have to open her up again to see if there's a problem with the dissolving stitches inside.

Fingers crossed it doesn't come to that.

Oh Wolfie I sure hope it does not come to that either and the antibiotics are all she needs. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

O what a shame Wolfie I thought that might be the case and the saline was meant as temp.measure to help keep the infection in check. What a nusance you had to wait a couple of days to see the vet I don't have that problem, I ring and say I am on my way and no one dare tell me otherwise I was even in the vets at 2am on christmas morning when Amy developed a kidney infection, oops I had not realised the time and thought the vet sounded odd on the phone..he had of course been asleep Never mind pay enough for his services and my dogs always come first regardless of who I annoy Hope your girl is better soon.
