Personally Sheree, I dont like coloured UPVS windows at all, infact not a fan of UPVS windows at any time, but that sby the by, I understand the practicality of them.

Firstly I think as Helena says, make sure who ever you get them from, you will be able to match in the future???



I am also a fan of keeping things simple, and the style you already have suits the house, so would probably try and keep it similar.

The porch , I agree with you, you could fill the front in one of two ways...make it the front door, and put floor lenght interior patio doors where the front door is now, a bit like this...

Either two or 4 panels, and you could do them in wood, and paint, this way they would be brought into the house, you could also drape with curtains for effect.


Then if you did that you could ... centre the front door, maybe one like this

then on either side you could half fill in and just have windows at either side.. or have full lenght windows!!
