Was it up to date with the research?

I remember watching a Martin Clunes documentary recently and it was total rubbish, looking at wolves all the time.

I missed the first one but saw the second part today, and enjoyed most of it.

Loved the fact it was stressed how modern society has forgotten what dogs are all about and how to treat them. Also showing how Victorian Britain's love of different breeds of dogs and the dog showing world had far reaching effects for all dogs.

I hope the first part will be repeated again, as I would like to see it. Can anyone give me an overview please?

I watched both parts and really enjoyed it. I can't answer if it was up to date on the research but I did find both episodes really interesting. Shocking about the bulldogs change over just a few years. Shame it is not a series.
