As for the advertisement/commercial itself? It was after I left the UK in 1985 so I never saw the Colman's advertisement and have no idea whether "this" George was in fact "that" George!

However, my wife did remind me that there is one other advert featuring George, perhaps more, so approaching Colmans might be the only way to find it.
