I have loads. One of my favourites is Sainsburys Book of Baking. It's pretty old though so I don't know if it's still available. The books from the BBC's Good Food series are also very good.

I like Nigel Slaters books, uses a lot of left overs and encourages you to twiddle about with the recipes.

I'm thinking about getting this one, by Oliva Newton-John

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Livwise-Oliv...4914002&sr=1-2

ONJ's royalties (from the book) go to her Cancer and Wellness Centre, too - which makes it doubly worth it.

One of the things I have started to look at at cookery books, is how healthy the author looks! If they look unhealthy then I think I'd rather steer clear from the food/recipes that got them that way

Anyway, Livwise seems to be about healthy eating, particularly as many of it's recipes come from a health spa - which appeals to me.

I have the River Cottage ones and a few Jamie Oliver - whether or not I actually ever use them is another question!

ONJ was on 'This Morning' yesterday talking about her new book. Did you watch it? Is that what inspired you Azz?

You'll have to let us know how you get on with her ideas.

I don't watch TV (just iPlayer) so had no idea she was on I just searched for 'health' and 'recipes' or 'diet' and her book came up in Amazon. Did they show any clips of the book? Does it contain pictures? I hate recipe books that don't

Indian Cooking Made Easy is a favourite of mine and I love Hairy Bikers cookbooks.

TBH though, the most used recipies I use are from the BBC Good Food website, it is brill and I love the fact people who have tried the recipies give star ratings and add their tips on how to make the recipie even nicer. I'm an addict to that site!!
