Silly question but are you sure she is losing weight. When my bitch moulted out with her season she looked so skinny I upped her food then when she put her coat back on she looked fat. Its amazing what a total loss of coat can do.

Yes - even people around us are starting to comment on how skinny she is. You can feel her spine, let alone her ribs. I`m hoping it`s just a reaction to spaying as she did go up and down, but we`ll give the change of diet a go to see if it`s that.

If you can get them, you could give her lamb ribs as well. But not the single ones, ones that are all stuck together in a slab. Lamb's a bit expensive this time of year though.

IT can take a while for the GA to get out of their system. I haven't ever ownerd a bitch but I know when I've had dogs castrated the moulting and hormone fluctuations go on for ages.
