I did this with a pair of £150 LaCoste sunglasses, I pulled up outside my stable and left them on the rear spoiler on the boot of my car whilst I did the horse - don't ask me why! Then I got half way down the road and started looking for them as the sun was shining in my eyes, then I remembered what I'd done with them. Just like your brolly they were nowhere to be seen, and I was livid (with myself!)
Shall we send the van then??
