Occasionally i'll have a browse on Ebay, but generally-things there end up going for too much.I did chuckle ages ago when i spotted a 'rare' Sinclair ZX81 with 16k rampack-i had one of these when they first came out and the bidding on this particular one was £70 when i looked! I dont think they were this much when new!

I have had couple of bargains though like a PS2 game in perfect condition for only £15 and a brand spanking new circular saw for only £50.

i do that too maple,, ive been using ebay for well over a year now and have learned not to bid until the last minute or it just gets out of hand

I've been looking for the same book on ebay and you're right, they go for way more than you could get for a second hand version on amazon!

Just wondering, I've been looking at the 1996 version, is it as good as the lateset edition? If not I'll go for the latest version!

Well at those prices I might be tempted!
I was thinking of keeping it just in case we ever get another puppy ...

He he you sound like me, I'd do that! The "You never know" mentality!

Let me know if you suddenly go completely off dogs and turn into some weird cat hermit and I'll have the book for a reasonable price (for a cat hermit anyway!)

Sometimes it is plain daft, my husband produces and sells a DVD to help raise funds for a museum and sells them at £12 inc P & P, recently one was sold on Ebay for £38 + P & P of £4 that’s £30 more and a loss to the fund

A friend of mine paid £35 for a pair of gold ballet shoes - exactly the same as a pair in Primark for £8!!

There's someone on Ebay who is always advertising stainless steel dog food/water bowls with embossed paws round the rim and on the bottom - £1.99 on Ebay plus postage and packing - or £1 in Poundland!
