No, it is not that sort of rubber it is almost slippery.

PS; are they as strong as the Ezydog ones too; just in case!
Looked at downtown couture; very cool, bet she looks great.

Very strong with really solid D rings for lead clips.

It's a bit tricky with the sizing, in fairness. The XL is slightly big on Dexter but it was either that or the L which was slightly tight... So I opted for the bigger collar

I also bought an XL extra wide EzyDog in chocolate for my brother's Lab Lucky; he's a really stocky dog. The collar looks fab on him and together he and Dex look really smart.

Very good collars, I think - certainly the best I've found and I've now tried several

The Ezydog ones do have a nice looking black one where the Dublin Dog ones dont, but the idea of a rubber one sounds good...just rinse it off and hey presto The DD ones look a little narrow for him maybe but its hard to tell cos photos of them arent on dogs....(I found one pic on a rottie and it was the grey/white one I looked at but looked a bit bright maybe....well my dog is very concerned how he looks y'know

hmmm, decisions, decisions....

will look into more Ezydog ones and the blue DD ones...

My dogs do all that stuff too and yet their collars seem to stand up pretty well, two of them have rogzfordogz and one has a very pretty black with a white celtic design off ebay. I just chuck them in the washing machine and they look as good as new.

I like a good leather collar.

If the dogs have had a good time swimming/ rolling etc, when they're curled up having a snooze, I get to treat the leather and polish the brass fittings

My collars are made from beta biothane which is strong (used on horses) and wipe clean.

i'v just ordered Opie a matching collar and lead from the lizardleathercollars.com website. clare makes all the leads and collars in leather by hand. Opie loves to roll in mud and puddles, but as long as i make sure i clean it regularly it will last a long time.
