Friend tried this burns one on her dog and had the same problem with smell of rotting guts!! Her house continually stank. She has switched to fish4dogs after I gave her a bagful of mine, which, by the way, has everybody noticed the reduction in price online of their completes? Nice one!

Actually Burns is one of the few feeds my dogs are good on and i've tried a fair few. My lurcher suffers from colitis, the only foods that suit her are Arden Grange and Burns so each to their own. My dogs look fab on the food, good weight and shiney smooth coats

I know Burns has a high cereal content but it works for my dogs, why i don't know but it does so i'm sticking with it

Hi Greyhoundk-Your right to stay with a food that suits your dogs, and if Burns is the one then so be it. I didnt find it suited my dog Toby, but good luck with your dogs. Im glad they are doing well.

The diets you mention dont agree with this dog x

JWB used to be a very good food. It was originally devised & manufactured by a Boxer breeder/exhibitor. They sold out some years ago. Purina bought it.
I agree re Wainwrights however have been down this road before. He woukd still be on the D/D except it went up so much in price - nearly £40 for 5 kilos

Your right, James Wellbeloved did sell out but they were bought by Mars which are Pedigree. Have you tried Vets Kitchen Salmon and Potato? Just put my dog Toby on it and he loves it. Seems to be doing his coat and skin good too.

Wait until you get to the bottom of the bag-its all powder.

If your happy with it fair enough. Im not here to criticize peoples choice of food; only to give my opinion.

I have, several times, and it isn't all powder at all.
