Def agree, look on trading standards website, a year is not long enough for a tv.... all good have to be fit for a purpose. I'm sure it says on the site a length of time for 'brown' goods, and it's longer than 2 years, you just have to stick to your guns.
Our plasma went just after the 12 months and as it cost £3500 no way was I going to just say oh well.
So, got it fixed for free as the new screen was going to cost over £2000, and you could get new ones for less.

Ok, well we have ordered a new T.V.The old one was 19 months old and the company we bought from has since gone bust. I'm afraid with my anxiety issues at the moment i could not deal battling with the maufacturer so we have gone ahead and ordered a new SONY 32". The reviews are fantastic for it ans the price we found was very low too compared with most other places. It arrives tomorrow morning......

Same taste as me there Jackie (same with shoes!) we've got 3 of those in our house now, 2 x 32" and 1 smaller one in the kitchen, I'm getting obsessed with Samsung tv's!!!

Glad you got yours now Fudgeley, nothing worse than having no tv, not that I watch much nowadays I'm always on here, but I do like to watch it in bed.

LOL, great minds think alike Aitch. Ours was a good price too so am looking forward to its arrival
