Sorry to hear you are not feeling so good. I agree with Vicki and the others, but I would do it soon if I were you as I am sure there is a time scale if it came that you were going to take them to court over it. Anyhow kick up a fuss and hopefully they will do something about it before it comes to that. Hope you get it sorted out and that you feel better soon.

That's the first thing I thought of when I read your initial post I don't wish to alarm you, but the wound is showing all the classic signs of it.

Ask your doctor to take a swab and have it sent off for testing. Explain your concerns over MRSA.

oh jackie im so sorry to hear you are unwell,im with the others you need to give the hospital a bit of a nudge,i cant believe they arent doing anything for you,god it makes me so mad!!!!!

5 years is an awful length of time for a wound being repeatedly infected! You yourself are bound to be run down because of this. Have you been given antibiotics as well? antibiotics tend to affect vitamin levels in your body, so you may need to take some extra vitamin C to help you feel better. You should have recourse to complaint as this is the result of surgery but as Lovezois says - there may be a time limmit, so you need to enquire about this as soon as possible. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanx everyone

i,m feeling dreadful today stomach is killing me

yes i am gonna take legal advice on what i can do
and yes i have had tons and tons of antibiotics, i take them it heals, then it opens again, a the moment it is half open and half closed as i have not long finished a course of antibiotics because i had a swab done by the doctor and he called to say i had an infection what a joke that is!!

Wolfie i didn,t even think of MRSA until my tutor mentioned it
i was at A&E the other nite as i really was feeling unwell and my temperature was really high
they told me they could do nothing for me and sent me home again!!

it is really getting me down now

im so sorry hun,what is the matter with them!!!!its insane you shouldnt be going through this.what do we pay our national insurance for!!!!!aghhh it makes me so mad,wouldnt still be going on if you were going private!

it is very sore and sits on my waistband so rubs on all my bottom clothes too which dont, help
i have to keep it covered all the time when i,m out
when i,m indoors i wear loose bottoms and leave it open to let air get to it
