Oo what lovely photos, it looks like you had a lovely walk

Never been to Formby but it's really not far from us!

Isn't there a woodland sort of walk to the beach too? Was it nice and quiet? Do you think it's suitable for a (off road lol) pushchair? or at least a baby in a backpack carrier? Looking for somewhere to take the dogs and baby this weekend...

(We need to do some serious training with Keisha and the baby - she's been a menace to offlead dogs approaching us when we have the baby with us so looking for quiet-ish long-ish walks, but where we can also take her long line and give her a gallop around on it when there's no other dogs too close ie;on the beach)?

A million questions, sorry!

Theres a woodland walk and the squirrel walk, then right at the very bottom there is the beach.

The wood bit was busy, lots of people and on lead dogs, but the beach was quiet, we didnt see many dogs up there and only a couple off lead. We got sand blasted on the dunnes which I think put people off going further up towards the beach but it wasnt too bad on the actual beach.

Take 3.50 if you want to park there (unless your a national trust member then its free), you can park at the bottom by the houses but theres lots of double yellows so we couldnt get too near.

Cant help with off roading prams though

Lovely photos. Also thanks for clearing up how to say that name, i have also always wondered.

If there was an award for the most travelled or the dog that has met the most other dogsey dogs i would say ted was a shoe in bless him
