Good luck with it!! I really wanted to go on that but apparently you need to be able to have a spare month or something!!

If thats true about needing a "story" to get on the show then i think thats really unfair. Fair enough some people need/deserve the money or chance more than others but its not fair to turn people away because they don't have a sob story.

If i was going to apply my story would be that i've worked hard everyday since i was old enough to get a job and worked hard for everything i have and now i'd like a break!! Lol

They film 3 shows a day so you need approx 2 weeks spare.

Oooh i can spare 2 weeks off, I have allocated hols at work and have first 2 weeks of August off but i guess you can't pick when you go on!!

I'd been trying for ages but everytime it said they were no longer accepting applications and only thought the other day I'd look.

I know some of the people on the show have said it took 18 months to get on there

I applied last Thursday..... God that form took ages, I wish I could've saved my answers but then I guess I'd worry I could've done better.

How cool would it be to be on the same show but I bet they wouldn't let that happen, not if they knew lol.

My Mum used to watch it and I could never get why she liked it. Then I started doing the tea of a gentleman who watches it, so we sit and watch it whilst he's eating his sandwich (the hard life of a carer) and now I'm hooked. It was last year when I first rtied to apply, but they said they weren't taking anymore so on my day off I tried again and woo hoo!
