If it were mine, the answer would be ''sorry but No''.

I often get asked by people who come here and want to walk up the road to the shops.....''can I take Skye'' (its always her cus she is a steady girl) and I still say No Im a misery but I prefer to keep mine with me

Best of luck with your decision xxxx

I would say "Thanks for the offer, but no" too. I would be worried sick the whole time, so what's the point in setting yourself up for all that stress?

I'd say no, there's no real benefit for Blue here, you can achieve the same excitement of a new area by hopping in the car/on the train a few miles down the road to somewhere he's not been before. At least if it was you taking him on holiday you would feel happy leaving early if he was unhappy or needed a vet trip, but would your friend begrudge ending her holiday early for Blue's sake? Even if she was happy to, she'd probably enjoy the holiday more without worrying about someone else's dog.

No, I wouldn`t let my dog go away without me. Just in case.... A lady I know walks Shamus for me sometimes, but that`s as far as it goes. I`d worry too much!

Yup, totally agree with the above.

Apart from my family, I wouldn't allow anyone else to walk my dogs. It's the 'just in case' that's the worry!
