[QUOTE=Gail]Many many thanks for all your support.....
I'm afraid my worst fear has been realised though. Lucy went to the vet tonight in a really bad way, the vet took one look at her and said to me "you know what I'm going to say don't you?" and I looked at him and said "yes" and burst into tears!
Oh I am so sorry for your loss.
This is exactly what happened to my little girl Kes a couple of months ago. We didn't really get any warning, just seemed to be she was off colour for a while then, like Lucy, was wobbly on her feet and seemed drunk. We took her straight to the vet and she had to be PTS with an almost certain brain tumour. I know how painful it is for you but you've done the right thing. Like Mini says, there comes a point when all our options have gone, leaving but one - the hardest one
It seems so unfair that your beloved has to be taken from you doesn't it
Try to remember the happy times when she was fit and well. Remember her with love, not sadness. Look after Toby as I'm sure he'll feel the loss too
Run free at the bridge little one xx
