Dn't think my boys would cope with laminate...they hate slippy surfaces and the way he chase round I think they'd do theirselves an injury

Thanks all I can't wait for it to go down now! No more grubby carpet :P (and boy is it grubby, it's really pale - well was pale till we moved in ). Hopefully the dogs will cope ok, in the living room there'll be a big rug it'll just be in the hallway that they might slide but they cope alright with the tiled kitchen floor so fingers crossed....

LOL @ Emma I know that scenario all too well, I pity my neighbours lol.

You wont look back Kirstie, its so much easier especially with dogs, we had carpets in our old house but when I bought my new place 2 years ago it was already laid out with laminate and tiles, no carpet in sight and I have to say it has made a huge difference. When my mum visits she says you would never tell I had one let alone two dogs in the house.

What amazes me though is the amount of sweeping up I do which gets me to thinking how many hairs must collect in a carpet

My mum has laminate flooring down and poor Jas looks like a cartoon character.......his legs are going hell for leather but he's not going anywhere
