Yes they do grow very big but the pet shop we got them from said they will swap them for us when they get too big for the tank either for some small ones or something else (phew)

aww what beautiful fish i love to sit and watch them for ages in the tank i used to have fish but when they died i sold all my set up

Lovely bright fish, I have 2 tanks, both have parrots in them, and I have a bottom feeder the same as yours..

Awwwwwwww i love parrot fish they are so colourful, tell me something, are tropical fish difficult to keep? would love to go tropical but imagine it to be far more complicated.

My brother has tropical fish and he doesn't seem to have much luck

Once your tank is set up, its quite easy to keep tropical, just add a heater and a filter, just remember, all different kinds of fish need all different conditions, the best thing to start with would be comminity fish, you can get a lot of different types of community fish that will live happily together..Your goldfish would be happy in a tropical tank too...

i just set up a tropical tank a month ago and am slowly adding fish. It is quite addictive!

Really? I thought goldfish only lived in coldwater, when the water in this tank gets a bit warm they get a bit frisky

We have a smaller tank (we use it when we clean the big tank out) maybe i should start small or maybe it would be better (and cheaper) to just go for it with the big one

Yes it is VERY addictive, we started out with 2 goldfish that was supposed to be it, we now have 11 in total
