. Chinaowner , sorry China is ill ..It is always best to go to the vet if in doubt or if sickness lasts for more than 24 hours ..puppies and young dogs get dehydrated very quickly. It is also best to withold food for around 12 hours with severe sickness or you may irritate a sore tummy and the food will come back anyway ..all a dog needs in that time is sips of water only a tiny drop at a time ,

Then if all is well introduce the rice/fish/honey and water.
I am beging to wonder if there is a bug going around...I have spoken to a couple of people in Derbshire who's dogs have been ill with D&S.

Mini, there is no diarrheoa and she has managed ok with a few tbsp of rice and honey water. she is still perky and begging for food so no change there then......
