Hello all we are back from the vet.

She cannot say 100% about it being a kidney or bladder infection but going on the information we have given her and the hospital last night about him weeing more than usual but taking 2-3 attempts to do one it all sounds like that is the problem.

She did examine him again and gave him an injection to relieve the burning pain he would be experiencing and has given him 5 days of antibiotics which we start tonight. We still have to try to get a sample from him but at the moment none is forthcoming. He will get another 5 days antibiotics if these start to help him but she didn't want us to pay for 10 days if these do not work and we have to start looking down other avenues.

She was a lovely vet and was very good with him he was muzzled and did grumble but she says he is a good boy as he warns people. So is not aggressive as such.

I am so pleased we changed vets it would of been a nightmare at our previous vets. We have too call her tomorrow too let her know how Ollie is doing.

He has stopped panting so hopefully the pain has eased for him and he is sleeping on and off. I will feel really happy when he eats and has a proper drink. But he must be exhausted so sleep first.

Thanks for all the good wishes once again they have worked.
